Happy New Year!

Thanks everyone for your support this year. It was a tough year for us all, and Snell Design was no exception. But we had have some good shows and as always met some great new friends. I am working on some new designs for the coming year and am eager to share them with you. I am also working on new show applications (some due today) so please check back to see where we will be this year. Thanks again for sharing in our success this year and we can't wait to see what 2010 holds for us all!

Sundae Bead

At last, some ice cream with no calories...This bead turned out better than the other one. I knew something wasn't right about the other, the ice cream wasn't in the inside of the glass. I finished this one with a sterling silver bail, now it is ready for wearing.

A bracelet I finished today for my cousin Cheryl, a Georgia Bulldog fan. (See the charm and the toggle that looks like a dog bone!) My husband is taking it to her tomorrow. He, my two brothers-in-law and a business associate are heading to Augusta tomorrow and then to Augusta National for Monday's practice round of the MASTERS. They are excited about the trip and I hope my cousin will be excited too when she gets her new bracelet. Thanks Ronnie and Cheryl for letting them stay with you!

Pretty Colors For Spring

How about a pair of Coral and Pink Earrings? The Coral is encased with clear glass and the pink dots are applied over the clear. Great for Spring!

Large Hole Beads

Black and White Large hole beads suitable for the Pandora style bracelets.

Bunny Earrings

Pretty pink lampwork beads with white dots complete these bunny earrings. Now all they need are the ear wires. (They were easier to photograph without the wires.)
Happy Easter...

Cute Bunny!

I bought these pewter bunny components last weekend from the same artist I got the pewter toggles from. The detail is incredible! I can't wait to see them put together. I hope to make some beads for them next week.

Another Angel

It's a rainy day here in Sanford, NC and I have put together a few more angels this morning. I have two purple angels to send to my friend Bettie in New Jersey. I am off to the post office now. Where's my umbrella?...

New Toggles!

I went to a bead show this past weekend in Charlotte and found some handcrafted pewter toggles. I have only used pewter toggles a few times, but I thought these were so pretty and a good alternative to sterling silver which has gotten more expensive over the past few years.

I sold a pair of earrings at the Raleigh Museum Store .
I hope to get some new things made and take them to the museum store soon.
So if you are in the area, check out the store and let me know what you think.
Just wanted to see if I could get back onto this thing. I love social media, but I am going to have to organize my use of it. I have not been on the torch (making beads) all week but have been on the computer working on some graphic design jobs. I am thankful to be able to do both. I will upload some new jewelry pieces soon.
