I mailed these earrings yesterday to Pamela Bivens...she hopes to wear them on her wedding day. These are sterling silver wire balls with freshwater pearls and Swarovski crystals. I have to give Pam credit for the design. She liked the wire beads and wondered how they would look with pearls. I also made a pair with larger wire beads. I can't wait to see what she thinks when she gets them. Pam has inspired me to make similar earrings for an upcoming wedding show (January 31, 2010 @ Little River Golf and Resort in Carthage, NC). Thanks Pam!

Tom and I went to the Intergalactic Bead Show in Durham on Saturday. (Thanks Caren for the reminder.) It was a great way to spend my birthday and Tom even treated me to a bracelet making class. Thanks to Linda Minor, Tom and I learned to make a "Pinch & Twist" Bracelet. It was a fun class and it is always great to learn a new skill...

Happy New Year Again!

Hope you are enjoying this cold new year. Tom and I ventured out on New Year's Eve to a great party (thanks Colleen and Charles) and took one last photo of the year.We are getting a snow forecast for this Thursday so I thought adding snow seemed fitting, thanks to Shabby Blogs and Ken Griggs. But if you know NC snow predictions, you also know this might be the only snow you see!
